SPARTANBURG, SC. (THECOUNT) — Jason Sashaun Elson has been identified as the victim fatally shot in Spartanburg, SC Friday night, according to reports.
Elson, 38, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound on Amherst Drive early Friday evening.
Police say, officers responded to a call of shots fired on Amherst Drive Friday evening. When they arrived police discovered a male victim suffering from fatal gunshot injuries.
Elson was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
At this time, no suspect information is available, reports FoxCarolina.
The incident is still under investigation.
