HENDERSONVILLE, TN. (THECOUNT) – Michael Glynn Sharer, the Hendersonville, Tennessee man charged in 2018 in the rape of a juvenile, was arrested Thursday morning after he was found to be living with the 2018 rape victim, according to Thursday reports.

Sharer, 32, was arrested for aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and violation of bond, according to Hendersonville Police.

According to reports, Sharer was previously arrested on July 6, 2018, after police responded to a report of a rape that occurred in the Otter Glenn Drive area. The juvenile victim reported she was given alcohol and then raped, according to a news release from police. During that investigation, evidence was discovered that Sharer recorded the sexual act with the minor.

Sharer’s latest arrest has violated his bond which was set following his 2018 arrest.

On Thursday, officers attempted to serve the arrest warrant when they found he was living with the victim from his 2018 rape arrest, reports NEWS4.

The age of the victim was not provided by officials.

Bond conditions prohibit any contact with the victim.

Bond has been set for $165,000. Sharer is due in court on November 20.

It is unclear if the suspect has secured representation.
