MONTGOMERY COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — A tragic crash took the life of Hannah Brooks, of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, who died Saturday afternoon on the day of her wedding, according to friends.

Brooks, 19, who according to social media was set to wed Jordan Little on Saturday, October 26, died in a two-vehicle crash in Montgomery County, officials confirmed. A male traveling in the other vehicle was injured in the crash and transported to an area hospital.

Police were called to Hwy 1050 near US 460 in Montgomery County on reports of a fatal vehicle wreck Saturday afternoon around 4 p.m.

When first responders arrived they discovered that a head-on crash had occurred, according to the sheriff’s office.

Brooks was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

The other driver was transported to UK hospital.

The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating, they do not believe alcohol or drugs are a factor. However, they say weather and road conditions may be a contributing factor in the crash, reports WSAZ.
