AUGUSTA, GA. (THECOUNT) — Andrew Dawson has been identified as the suspect arrested in the murder of 82-year-old blind Augusta woman, Elizabeth Thompson, according to reports.
Dawson, 22, was taken into custody in the murder of Thompson, who was killed in her Kennedy Drive home in what police are calling a burglary.
Augusta police responded last week to calls of a home burglary on Kennedy Drive. When they arrived they discovered Thompson dead.
Dawson is charged with murder and burglary in the death of Elizabeth Thompson, reports WJBF.
