CROSSVILLE, TN. (THECOUNT) — The world’s largest treehouse, known as the “Minister’s Tree House,” located in Crossville, Tennessee, has burned down overnight, according to reports.
Cumberland County Fire Department told reporters Wednesday morning that the famous structure perched in a large tree burnt to the ground overnight.

The record holding house was a hot spot for locals and tourists alike, reports FOX17.
The structure stood 100 feet tall and encompassed seven trees.
It was recently sold to a new owner, who said he wasn’t planning on tearing it down.
Tours stopped in 2011 after the fire marshal shut it down for safety reasons.
It’s been vacant since and has recently been a target for vandalism.
The Minister’s Tree House was located on Beehive Lane in Crossville, TN.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
