NORMAN, OK. (THECOUNT) — 247Sports is reporting and video from the scene confirms, the Sooner Schooner, that takes the field after every OU touchdown, didn’t go as planned following the fourth one of the day.

The wagon appeared to take the turn a little too sharp and spilled into a rollover accident at the far side 15-yard line just after the Sooners took a 28-7 lead late in the second quarter.

Turning quickly, the top literally came off the wagon, while the ponies kept pulling and it tipped over from left to right, dropping a couple of the RUF/NEKs aboard. Fortunately, the two were able to walk off with a little help, while the horses appeared to be fine as well.

However, the crash left quite a mark all the way from where it happened to halfway through the end zone. And the wagon will surely need a repair.

Luckily, the horses and occupants seemed to be okay and were able to exit the firle dunder their own power.

Watch the scary tumble above!
