CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Hailey McMullen, of Deerfield Township, has been identified as the youngster ejected from a Wisdom Super Sizzler “Extreme” carnaval ride Saturday night, according to Tuesday morning reports.

McMullen, 10, was killed an event that was part of a Harvest Festival staged in the Cumberland County, New Jersey town. McMullen was flown to a hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.

The 10-year-old girl was killed after falling out of a ride while visiting a New Jersey harvest festival Saturday evening, according to reports by HeraldStandard on Tuesday morning.

McMullen was on a ride at the Deerfield Township Harvest Festival, located on the Rosenhayn Fairgrounds, 678 Morton Avenue in Bridgeton, Cumberland County, around 6:15 p.m. Saturday, when the fatal accident occurred.

Officials say the 10-year-old girl fell off one of the rides, reports Philadelphia.cbs.

McMullen was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead in injuries suffered at the event.
