FAIRBANKS, AK. (THECOUNT) — Adam Toenies, of Fairbanks, has been identified as the victim in a fatal rollover crash in Fairbanks, Alaska on Monday morning, according to Tuesday reports.

Toenies, 35, died in a vehicle crash on the east side of Fairbanks Monday morning, according to Fairbanks police.

According to police, Toenies was operating a vehicle traveling on the Johansen Expressway, near College Road, when for unknown reasons, he crossed centerlines and exited the roadway.

The vehicle then collided with the shoulder and rolled over around 9:30 a.m. Monday.

Fairbanks firefighters found Toenies ejected from the vehicle, reports 1310News.

First responders transported Toenies to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

Investigators determined the victim was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the violent crash.

Police say patchy ice may have been a factor in the deadly crash.
