Spider Blamed For Rollover Crash Of Forest Park Woman ‘Dropped From Rearview Mirror’

PORTLAND, OR. (THECOUNT) — Officials say a spider is to blame for a rollover crash Wednesday morning in Northwest Portland’s Forest Park Bonny Slope area.

According to the crash report, a female driver was traveling on NW Thompson and McDaniel Roads when a spider suddenly dropped down from her rearview mirror.

The fright caused the woman to cross centerlines and exit the roadway. The vehicle then rolled over into a culvert.

The vehicle was a total loss but amazingly, the driver escaped with only a “minor scratch” on her hand.

The driver suffered a minor scratch on her hand, reported ABC6OnYourSide on Thursday.
