Missing AL Man Patrick Tucker ID’d As Body Found At University of Alabama Campus

TUSCALOOSA, AL. (THECOUNT) — Authorities say a body found on the University of Alabama campus earlier this month was that of missing Tuscaloosa man Patrick Tucker.

News outlets report that the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences identified the body as that of 42-year-old Patrick Tucker.

Sandra Tucker had been searching for her husband for nearly a month.

Officials didn’t release a cause of death, but they say foul play isn’t suspected, reports SFGate.

The body was found in a wooded area on campus on Sept. 11. The Tuscaloosa News reports the man’s wife reported him missing in late August, saying she last saw him at a gas station a few miles away, reports SFgate.

Tucker disappeared from a Texaco Station on University Boulevard East late the night of Aug. 27 or during the early morning hours of Aug. 28. The couple were staying at the nearby Moon Winx and had walked to the store to get some fresh air.
