OPELOUSAS, LA. (THECOUNT) — Witnesses are reporting that shots have been fired at a Walmart in Opelousas, Louisiana, according to local reports.
The Walmart is located at 1629 E Cresswell Lane, in Opelousas, LA.
There is still a large police presence at the store. On scene are Opelousas Police, St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana State Police, and Acadian Ambulance, reports KATC.
Employees and customers have been evacuated from the store.
Opelousas Police say no one has been hurt and they are currently investigating the possibility of shots fired inside the store.
