IL Rapper ‘Cold Kase’ Shot Dead Monday Night At E St Louis Gas Mart Scene Of Prior Music Video

EAST ST. LOUIS, IL. (THECOUNT) — Popular East St. Louis rapper, Cold Kase, was shot dead in Illinois on Monday night, according to reports.

Kase, aka, Cedric Gooden, 25, was shot dead in the parking lot of a gas station located near State Street at 83rd Street around 9:50 p.m. Monday night.

Gooden was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.

Details surrounding the shooting are scarce as the East St. Louis police called in the Illinois State Police to help in the investigation, reports FOX2NOW.

Police have not released a description of any suspects.
