MARION COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Florida man, DeAngelo Clark, has been identified as the suspect arrested after killing his 20-year-old girlfriend – stabbing her at least 20 times. Kiara Alleyne was pronounced dead at the scene.

Clark, 30, stabbed Alleyne to death in Marion County and then proceeded to FaceTime her father, Sheldon Alleyne, to get his advise, according to reports.

At the end of the Facetime exchange, deputies said Alleyne’s father could see his daughter laying on the floor in a pool of blood.

When deputies arrived to the scene, Alleyne was located deceased of stab wound injuries. Her 1-year-old daughter was missing.

According to deputies, Clark fled the scene and broke into a home in the Florida Keys. While there, he reportedly started a fire. Clark then started a fire in his car – badly burning himself, officials said.

Officials issued an Amber Alert for the child who was later located safe with family members.

Central Florida authorities were unable to find Clark until hours later after they received a call from law enforcement officials in South Florida who told deputies he was in a hospital in the Florida Keys, reports WESH.

Clark is still in South Florida where he is being treated for burns. When he recovers, he will be brought back to Marion County to face a murder charge.
