NORFOLK, VA. (THECOUNT) — Four people were killed in a single-vehicle Saturday morning at the Norfolk International Airport in Virginia, after exiting the roadway, according to reports.
A vehicle crash near Norview Avenue in Norfolk left four people dead after a vehicle heading toward the departures area of the airport crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then collided with a tree and caught fire.
Police received the call around 1 a.m. in the 2200 block of Norview Avenue, according to 13NewsNow.
Earlier police said three people were pronounced dead at the scene. Later, police updated the fatality number to four people.
Police are still attempting to positively identify the victims.
