CRAWFORD COUNTY, MI. (THECOUNT) — Brian Phillips of Grayling, Michigan, has been identified as the man killed in an vehicle ejection crash on Saturday morning, according to reports.
Michigan State Police Houghton Lake Post is investigating a crash after Phillips, 33, was killed in a single-vehicle crash occurring around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, according to troopers.
Phillips was traveling on BL I-75 (M-93) north of Grayling near Wellington Way, In Crawford County’s Grayling Twp., when the fatal crash occurred Saturday, according to deputies.
Officials say that their initial investigation and witness statements indicated that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it left went off the road, reports WNEM.
Phillips’ vehicle rolled over ejecting him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
Phillips was the sole occupant of the vehicle when the deadly crash occurred.
The crash remains under investigation.
