HUNTLEY, IL. (THECOUNT) — The body of missing Huntley, Illinois teen, Aidan M. Beckford, has been found on Saturday, according to Sunday reports.
Beckford, 18, who had been missing for over a week, was discovered deceased Saturday, according to officials.
McHenry County officials said the coroner’s office, fire officials and the sheriff’s office were dispatched to the area near Nish Road and Highview Road Saturday afternoon for an unidentified deceased male, reports WGNTV.
The body was later identified by officials as that of Beckford who was reported missing on Aug. 30 around 9:30 p.m.
A cause of death was not provided.
An autopsy was scheduled for Monday morning.
The investigation is ongoing.
