LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — The widow of Linkin’ Park, Chester Bennington, Talinda Bennington, got engaged in April to a Los Angeles County firefighter, TMZ is reporting Friday evening.
Talinda, aka, Talinda Ann Bentley, is “moving forward with her life,” two short years after the singer’s suicide death.
TMZ says Chester’s relatives are supportive of Talinda’s new relationship and they think her fiance’s a good guy. The kids are happy “because it makes their mom happy,” said TMZ.
Chester took his own life in his Palos Verdes home back in 2017, while Talinda and their children were out of town.
At the time of the singer’s death, distasteful social media rumors swirled claiming Talinda confessed on Twitter to cheating on her husband with bandmate Mike Shinoda.
Talinda said at the time she, “encouraged him to kill himself I told him no one cared,” reported MetalDevastationRadio.
The above claims have not been substantiated and Bentley claimed she was hacked.
