JACKSONVILLE, FL. (THECOUNT) — Kylie Rae has been granted her release from All Elite Wrestling, according to multiple reports on Sunday.

According to media in attendance at the post-All Out scrum, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about Kylie’s status. Khan said Rae requested her own release and it was granted.

He also said it was a quick and amicable process.

As you’ll recall, Rae was part of a four-way match at Double or Nothing in Las Vegas and was seemingly pegged to be one of the stars of AEW’s women’s division. Shortly after, however, she deactivated her social media accounts and pulled out of a few bookings, reports ProWrestlingSheet.

No word at this time on the reason for her request.

Fans took to Twitter:

In July, Rae was absent from Double or Nothing, and Dave Meltzer has provided an update on her status in the latest Wrestling Observer.

“Kylie Rae has been out of action. The situation has been kept quiet but it is a medical issue and she is expected back soon,” reports WrestleTalk.

Rae debuted for AEW at the aforementioned Double or Nothing show in a four-way match that also included Nyla Rose, Awesome Kong, and winner Britt Baker.

She was initially set to face Brandi Rhodes at Fyter Fest but ended up being replaced by Allie.
