Burning Man ‘Suspicious Death’ Thursday Prompts NV Investigation ‘Already Dead In Medical Tent’

BLACK ROCK DESERT, NV. (THECOUNT) — A man has reportedly died while attending Burning Man on Thursday, according to the Pershing County Sheriff’s Office.

Pershing County police are investigating the suspicious death of a man at Burning Man in the desert of northern Nevada on Thursday.

The man’s name and cause of death have not yet been provided by officials.

The death of the unidentified man on Thursday is now being investigated as suspicious after he was located already deceased in an event medical tent.

The man had already been pronounced dead by medical staff at Burning Man medical tent when deputies and the coroner’s office arrived, reports RGI.

The sheriff’s office did not say how the man was discovered or how he ended up at the medical tent.

The scene where the man was found was then secured for investigation and the man’s body was transported to the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office in Reno.

The Investigation is ongoing.
