LAS VEGAS, NV. (THECOUNT) — Metro Police say they have located a body inside a vehicle belonging to missing Las Vegas restaurant owner Sharon Harrell.
Harrell, 53, the owner of TC’s Rib Crib, was reported missing on Aug. 23 after leaving her place of business, located on South Durango Drive, in Las Vegas, NV.
A vehicle registered belonging to Harrell, with a body inside, was discovered along the 4000 block of West Twain Ave in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say the body discovered in the vehicle has not been identified, and a cause of death has not been established. That part of the investigation is now being handled by the Clark County Coroner’s office, reports News3LV.
Friends and patrons of the restaurant continue to stop by to leave candles, stuffed animals, flowers and cards offering prayers.
The restaurant remains closed, with a sign on the door that reads “Sorry, closed early for emergency.”
LVMPD has declined further comment at this time and will wait for additional information from the coroner’s office and investigators.
