JACKSBORO, TX. (THECOUNT) — Alyssa Gayle Green and Destiny Ann Thompson, both of Jacksboro, Texas, have been identified as the teenagers killed in a vehicle accident involving a an 18-wheeler near Morgan Mill, on Thursday night.
The double-deadly crash occurred after the a vehicle attempted to perform a u-turn in from of a semi-tractor on Hwy. 281, in Jacksboro Thursday night shortly after 9 p.m.
According to reports, Thompson, 18, was operating a Nissan Altima on Hwy. 281, when she attempted a u-turn in the path of a Peterbilt semi-truck.
Thompson and Green, also 18, were pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the Peterbilt, Robert C. Tyrrell, 59, of Oklahoma City, was transported to Texas Health Hospital where he was treated and released, reports YourStephenvilleTX.
