NEW YORK, NY. (THECOUNT) — One day after being removed from suicide watch, the late Jeffrey Epstein was reportedly meeting with at least one young woman inside a special room at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, aka MCC.

The sight was so unusual, it caught the attention of a visiting attorney, reports WesternJournal.

“The optics were startling. Because she was young. And pretty,” the anonymous lawyer told Forbes.

He said the pair met for at least two hours.

The room where Epstein and the mystery woman met is part of a private area set aside for clients and their lawyers. Handcuffs are allowed off and the room has a locking door.

The visit raised several red flags for the visiting attorney. The woman wasn’t one of the named lawyers who visited Epstein, and she certainly wasn’t his main lawyer.

She was also wearing more casual clothes than would be expected from a professional, especially one for a rich client like Epstein.

On top of that, the attorney didn’t see the woman carrying any files or folders.

Although he doesn’t think the woman was there for any malicious reason, the visiting lawyer said that doesn’t mean Epstein isn’t gaming the system.
