FRESNO COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — Mark Bristol has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in Fresno County on Tuesday.

Bristol, 54, a Parlier High School teacher and warrant officer, was killed Tuesday in a motorcycle-versus-Jeep crash in Fresno County at the intersection of Manning Ave and Maple Ave.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Jeep was traveling on Maple when it collided with Bristol’s motorcycle.

A crash reports indicates the driver of the Jeep pulled out to make a turn, and the motorcyclist didn’t have time to stop, CHP said.

Witnesses in the area attempted life-saving measures, and then emergency personnel attempted them as well.

Bristol was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

On Facebook, the staff at Parlier High School confirmed that the victim was NJROTC teacher Chief Warrant Officer Mark Bristol, reports YourCentralValley.
