Massive Power Outage Strikes London ‘Failure At National Grid’ Trains Halted Traffic Lights Dark

LONDON, UK. (THECOUNT) — A massive power outage is occurring Friday In London and surrounding areas, according to reports.

Large parts of the UK have been hobbled by a large-scale power outage which is causing chaos for transport links.

Train services and traffic lights have been affected up and down the country, as UK Power Networks confirmed a mass issue.

The electricity distribution network for the Midlands, South West and Wales declared a major incident at about 5.45pm on Friday afternoon, reports Standard.

A Western Power Distribution tweet read: “We are currently experiencing a major incident on the national electricity infrastructure.

“We are in the process of restoring customers now and will provide further updates as soon as possible for specific areas.
