CA Man Shot Dead Outside Livermore Walmart Wednesday Morning

LIVERMORE, CA. (THECOUNT) — An unidentified man was fatally shot outside a Livermore, CA, Walmart on Wednesday morning, according to multiple reports from the area.

According to the Livermore Police Department, a homicide investigation is underway Wednesday morning after a man was shot and killed near the Walmart near Las Positas Road and Hilliker Place.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2700 block of Las Positas Road near Hilliker Place just after 4 a.m., according to KRON4.

At the scene officers found a man with a gunshot wound to his upper torso; he died at the scene.

Police said the investigation is in its early stages.

Police are expected to give another update at 9 a.m.
