LA CROSSE, WI. (THECOUNT) — Popular La Crosse, Wisconsin eatery, Perkins Restaurant & Bakery, abruptly closed its doors “indefinitely” Monday morning.

The restaurant, located at 1411 Rose Street in La Crosse’s north side, closed without prior notice with managers find out they were out of a job “this morning.”

A manager of the restaurant said she was told this morning in a managers meeting that they wouldn’t be opening and that the location would be closed indefinitely, reports News8000.

The Onalaska location will remain open, the manager confirmed.

Management is “making accommodations” for staff, ‘possibly’ relocating them to the Onalaska location.
