HOLYOKE, MA. (THECOUNT) — Andrew Musgrave, of Amherst, has been identified as the homicide victim in a weekend shooting in Holyoke, Mass.

Musgrave, 31, was found suffering from apparent gunshot injuries around 11:30 p.m. Saturday in Holyoke.

Reports say, officers were in the area when they heard gunshots. They then received a 911 call reporting the shooting.

Officers arrived to a Holyoke residence and found Musgrave outside suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was transported to an area hospital where was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

There was no word on a possible motive and no suspects were announced, reports KentuckyNewEra.

The homicide remains under investigation.
