ATTLEBORO, MA. (THECOUNT) — Nick Cardi, who was one of the beloved “NiRoPe,” Cardi Brother’s from Cardi’s Furniture & Mattress, has passed away.

The family made the sad announcement on Twitter Friday afternoon.

“Our brother, Nick, passed away today after a 4 year battle with cancer,” according to a post on Twitter.

“Thoughts and prayers are with Nick’s wife, son & our family,” the post noted. “The Cardi family tradition in the furniture and mattress business continues with Ron, Pete & our entire team of employees, for many years to come,” source TurnTo10.

As part of “NiRoPe,” Nick and his brothers, Ron and Pete, were the faces of Cardi’s Furniture.

Together, they have been offering Southern New England “an extensive selection of home furnishings at great prices, backed by unparalleled customer service.

Their grandparents settled in Cranston after moving to Rhode Island from Italy in 1901, later opening a general store in 1928.

Since then, “NiRoPe” has continued the family tradition.
