SOUTHAVEN, MS. (THECOUNT) — Suspect in Mississippi Walmart shooting charged with two counts of murder, identified as Martez Tarrell Abram.

It is not clear if the victims were targeted by Abram or shot at random. One person was killed inside the store and the other was killed outside.

Brandon Gales, 38, who according to his father, worked at the Southaven Walmart, was identified as one of two victims killed in a Tuesday shooting. The second victim has been identified as Anthony Brown, 40. He’s from Caledonia, Mississippi.

Family members say Brown had two boys and was the store manager of Walmart.

Gales, 38, worked at the Walmart for around 16-years and was promoted to becoming a department manager, reports Fox13Memphis.

The suspect was also injured during the shooting when a Southaven police officer struck him twice. He is currently at Regional One hospital.

A massive police presence was seen converging at the Southaven Walmart on Southcrest Parkway Tuesday morning.
