Explosion At Exxon Facility in Baytown, TX Shelter In Place Issued As Blaze Burns Out Of Control

BAYTOWN, TX. (THECOUNT) — Fire officials are responding to blaze caused by a massive explosion at the Exxon facility in Baytown, Texas Wednesday.

Baytown officials have issued a shelter in place order for all residents in the area of the plant.

The Exxonmobil Baytown Olefins Plant is located at, 3525 Decker Dr, in Baytown, TX.

Video from the scene showed fire and smoke billowing from the structure.
