PORTER TOWNSHIP, MI. (THECOUNT) — Tyler Hershberger of Three Rivers, Michigan, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle accident in Porter Township.
Hershberger, 25, was operating a motorcycle when he made contact with a 16-year-old pulling out of a driveway near US-12 and Baldwin Prairie Rd.
Police say the teen driver was pulling out of a driveway when he collided with Hershberger’s motorcycle.
Hershberger was ejected from his motorcycle during the crash.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
A crash report noted that he was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
According to social media, Hershberger worked at American Axle & Manufacturing and was a former forklift operator at Pioneer Hi-Bred. He was a former Small arms/artillery repairman for the U.S. Army.
