AUBURN, AL. (THECOUNT) — Kyle Jones, of Opelika, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash on Interstate 85 near Auburn Saturday night.
Jones, 39, was operating a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle on I-85 when he came into contact with a 2012 Honda Accord Saturday after 11:30 p.m.
Jones was thrown from the bike during the collision suffering mortal blunt force trauma injuries.
The identity of the Honda Accord driver and that driver’s condition were not available on Sunday, reports OANow.
No further information was provided by officials.
The investigation into the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
