AUBURN, ME. (THECOUNT) — Jean Fournier, of Lewiston, Maine, has been identified as the victim killed in a shooting at an Auburn Walmart Saturday night.
Fournier, 41, was fatally shot in the parking lot of the Auburn Walmart around 8 p.m. Saturday.
State police say, Fournier was transported to Central Maine Medical Center where he later passed away from gunshot injuries.
The shooter was taken into custody Saturday night.
No charges have been filed.
The shooter’s car has been taken to the State Police Crime Lab for analysis, reports WMTW.
An autopsy will be conducted by the Maine Medical Examiner’s Office.
No further information was provided by officials.
