FAYETTEVILLE, AR. (THECOUNT) — Andrew Trevor Lopez, of Rogers, Arkansas, has been identified as the pedestrian struck and killed on Fulbright Expressway in Fayetteville early Friday.
Lopez, 34, was on-foot attempting to cross Fulbright Expressway Friday when he was fatally struck by a Cadillac Escalade.
According to a report from the Arkansas State Police, the fatal accident occurred after 12:30 a.m. Friday after Lopez entered the roadway on the expressway and was struck by the Escalade, reports 5NewsOnline.
The unnamed driver of the Escalade, who was uninjured in the collision, remained on-scene and fully cooperated with officials.
No one was cited at the scene and no charges are pending.
Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
According to social media, Lopez was originally from Pleasanton, CA.
