MINOT, ND. (THECOUNT) — Jonathan Zacher and Cara ‘Hatch’ Zacher, both of Parshall, North Dakota, have been identified as the victims in a triple-fatal crash near Minot on Monday.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol said in all, three people killed in the two-vehicle wreck near Minot on Monday afternoon on Hwy 23 in Sawyer.

Authorities say 78-year-old Marvin Ness, of Douglas, was killed when his pickup truck crossed into the path of a Chevy Suburban on Highway 23 west of Minot Monday afternoon.

The two vehicles collided head-on with the Suburban becoming engulfed in flames, reports NewsPressNow.

The Zachers, who were operating a Suburban SUV, were killed in the collision.

Audrey, a juvenile girl seated in a car seat, survived with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
