NAVARRE, FL. (THECOUNT) — Heidi Sinclair-Thomas, of Navarre, Florida has been identified as the victim in a Monday motorcycle crash in Santa Rosa County Monday night.
Thomas, 54, was operating a 3-wheeled Can-Am Spyder, when she rear-ended a vehicle at the intersection of FL-98 and Coral Street after 6 p.m. Monday night.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol, traffic ahead of Thomas was stopped at the intersection of Coral Street when she collided with a Ford Expedition driven by Robert John Lewis Orth Jr., 29, of Navarre.
The force of the impact caused the Expedition to collide with a 2015 Chevy Impala driven by 25-year-old Brittney E. McCready of Navarre, according to PNJ.
Thomas was ejected from the trike during the collision.
She pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
No one else was injured in the crash, according to reports.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
According to social media, Thomas was originally from Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
