WAUSAUKEE, WI. (THECOUNT) — Scott Rupert, of Marinette, Wisconsin, has been identified as the victim killed while operating a motorcycle in Wausaukee Saturday evening.
Rupert, 64, was traveling on a motorcycle on Perch Lake Road in Wausaukee when the fatal crash occurred around 7 p.m. Saturday.
Officials determined Rupert struck a deer that was in the roadway. His motorbike then struck a group of trees, say witnesses.
A witness saw an eastbound motorcycle ahead of him hit a deer and go off the road into some trees, according to the sheriff’s department, reports GreenbayPressGazette.
