Prime Members Can Now Buy A ‘Tiny Home’ On Amazon For $18,000 Free Shipping

SEATTLE, WA. (THECOUNT) — Have you been thinking of seriously downsizing and you’re an Amazon Prime member? Well you’re in luck.

You might have read about the growing trend of tiny homes, and now online retail giant Amazon is actually offering a tiny home for less around $18,000 – free shipping, no lie.

Prime members can purchase the “Lillevilla Allwood Cabin Kit Getaway,” which could function as a summer home, office or a stand-alone traveling storefront. We imagine it might also serve well the world’s most pampered pet.

The kit, which sells for $18,800, takes customers about two to three days to build and comes with full directions.

It comes with three downstairs rooms, which is 292 square feet, and an added upstairs loft sleeping area, reports KEN5.

One of the downsides, the magazine reports, is the cabin does not come ready with plumbing, which the customer would have to install on their own.

A $4,990, 113-square-foot cabin and a $10,695, 273-square-foot garden house kit are also available through Amazon.

And Amazon isn’t the only game in town if you’re looking for the shrimified residence of your dreams, eBay is also offering a slightly more elaborate version of the runt residence.

You can “Buy It Now” you’re very own, brand new, $64,999.00 “CABIN TINY HOUSE 2 BED 1-1/2 BATH MOVABLE PRE-FAB FOR YOUR PROPERTY/LOT FURNISHD,” the auction page headline reads.

The moveable home boasts 2 full bedrooms and 1-1/2 bath and according to the builder, the process works like this:

#1) You would first pick the cabin floor plan you want. #2) You would then pick all your exteriors (siding and roof colors, etc.) #3) You would then pick your interiors (walls, floors, etc.) #4) We then build and complete the cabins per each order. #5) Upon completion we then ship the cabin to our customer’s completely prepped properties, ready to be hooked up to the property’s utilities, water, sewer, etc. Elegant Rustic Cabins does not do any property work (i.e., landscaping, etc.) whatsoever.

The National Association of Home Builders found a staggering 53 percent of people polled would consider relocating to a tiny home.
