BRISTOL, TN. (THECOUNT) — At least two people were reportedly injured in a Wednesday morning gas explosion on Broad Street near Cootie Brown’s in Bristol, Tennessee, according to officials.
Fire department officials say an Atmos Energy crew was working on a line in the area of Broad Street when the blast occurred just before 9:30 a.m.
Bristol FD crews rushed to the scene of the explosion, located in the 100 block of Volunteer Parkway, in Bristol.
The conditions of those injured have not been released, reports WCMB.
The victims were transported to an area hospital code 3.
