LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — Former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler was hospitalised after suffering self-inflicted stab wounds to his stomach, reports say.
Adler, 54, was rushed to the hospital after stabbing himself at his Los Angeles home, TMZ reported thursday.
Law enforcement sources say an individual at Adler’s L.A. home contacted 911 shortly after 6:30 PM Thursday night to report someone suffering from self-inflicted stab wounds.
When cops and paramedics arrived, they discovered Adler suffering from a stab wound to his stomach.
TMZ says, Adler was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. We’re told no one else is suspected to have been involved in the incident.
It is unclear why the HOF drummer stabbed himself.
Adler was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with the group in 2012.
