EAST LONGMEADOW, MA. (THECOUNT) — Tina Jette of East Longmeadow, MA, has been identified as the homicide victim in East Longmeadow on Tuesday afternoon.
Jette, 61, was named as the victim in a currently “active homicide investigation” conducted by State Police assigned to the D.A.’s office, East Longmeadow Police, and the D.A.’s murder unit, according to officials.

Officials named 35-year-old, Matthew Scavotto, as a suspect. He was arraigned Wednesday afternoon in Palmer District Court, reports WesternMassNews.
Police were called to a home along Somers Road in East Longmeadow, MA, near Mountain View Elementary school, late Tuesday afternoon.
Officials noted that there was one victim in the incident.
