PAYETTE, ID. (THECOUNT) — Tonya Goodman of Fruitland, Idaho, has been identified as the body pulled from the Snake River in Payette Tuesday.
The body of Goodman, 46, was spotted by an individual in the area of the Centennial Park Boat Docks, who then reported it to police.
Deputies say they are investigating the death.
Deputies used the sheriff’s office’s jet boat to retrieve the body from the river, reports KTVB.
Goodman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A cause of death was not provided by officials as the Payette County Coroner is still working to determine how Goodman died. Officials did note they found no evidence of foul play.
The death remains under investigation.
