GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Abby Belle Allen has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle crash on US-25 near Berea, South Carolina.
Allen, 18, was riding in a vehicle when it collided with another vehicle after losing control for unknown reasons. The vehicle then struck a utility pole, a tree, and a road sign, according to troopers.
Allen was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
Two other individuals riding in the vehicles were transported to area hospital with multiple injuries, reports FoxCarolina.
The Berea Fire Department, South Carolina Highway Patrol, Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, and Greenville County Coroner’s Office were all on scene.
The incident caused at least 3,000 power outages after utility equipment was damaged in the crash.
