CAMDEN, SC. (THECOUNT) — Melissa Watson Hopkins, of Kershaw County, South Carolina, has been identified as the body found found at a Camden, South Carolina Walmart Wednesday.
Hopkins, 54, was discovered suffering from apparent gunshot wounds outside a Camden Walmart Wednesday afternoon, according to Kershaw County coroner.

Officials say Kershaw County 911 received a call around 2 p.m. reporting that a woman in a car outside the Walmart appeared to be sick. When EMS arrived on the scene, they say they found the woman on the ground beside her car after bystanders had taken her out of the car and started CPR, reports WLTX.
An autopsy is scheduled to be performed Thursday to determine the cause of death, according to the coroner.
