SPRING HILL, FL. (THECOUNT) — Dustin Wolfingbarger, of St. Petersburg, Florida, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle Saturday night in Spring Hill.
Wolfingbarger, 34, was on-foot in the area of the Lowes in the 4900 block of Commercial Way before 9 p.m., when he was struck by at least one vehicle, possibly multiple vehicles.

Florida Highway Patrol said they are seeking at least one vehicle that was involved in the fatal collision.
The victim was “struck by one, if not two vehicles, that were silver and white in color,” said FHP officials. Angel Luis Perez struck Wolfingbarger while operating a 2009 Chevy vehicle, stated the FHP.
Wolfingbarger was transported to a area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
Perez, 50 of Spring Hill, was not injured, reports BayNews9.
It is unclear if anyone was cited in the collision.

Local news outlets identified the victim as Dustin “Wolfingbargar,” however, THECOUNT.COM has learned that spelling of the victim’s last name is incorrect.
