KALAMAZOO, MI. (THECOUNT) — Jessica Bramer, of Grand Rapids and Christian Reed, of Marne, have been identified as the victims found dead Friday afternoon in Whitehall Township Rodeway Inn Hotel.

A six-month-old child was located alive in the same room. The child was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

Bramer, 26, and 28-year-old Reed were found dead inside a room at the motel located at, 3080 East Colby Street, in Whitehall, MI, on Friday, reports MSP troopers.

“The initial autopsy results did not identify an immediate cause of death,” reports Fox17Online.

Toxicology test results will be made available in about a month. MSP says.

“It is believed that the infant child was alone in the room for a period of days” (before being found). The 6-month-old child remains in critical condition at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.”

MSP says the investigation is ongoing, and several possibilities are being explored. It asks anyone who had contact with Jessica Bramer and Christian Reed after May 14, 2019 to contact Detective/Sergeant Denise Bentley at (616)-866-4411.
