SURRY COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Ryan Gwyn, of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, has been identified as one of three victims killed in a blaze at a Surry County apartment Monday morning.
Gwyn and two women were killed in the apartment fire and one woman is in critical condition, according to Surry County Emergency Services.

Gwyn fled the apartment fire but ran back in to attempt to save others. He died in the process, according to family.
Surry County Emergency Services is not releasing the address of the fire until families are notified, reports MyFox8.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
According to Facebook, Gwyn is in a relationship with Taylor Chipman.
