RICHMOND, VA. (THECOUNT) — William Reed Jr., has been identified as the victim found suffering from fatal gunshot wounds Wednesday in Richmond, Virginia.

Reed, 22, was found shot to death in South Richmond Wednesday morning by officers who responded to a call of shots fired in the 1100 block of Floral Avenue at 11:21 a.m.

Reed was discovered by officials lying in the roadway with an apparent gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.

A neighbor told WTVR CBS 6 that she heard at least two gunshots before calling 911.

Police do not yet have a suspect description.
