HENDERSONVILLE, TN. (THECOUNT) — Huyen Thi Thanh Hunyh has been identified as the Union University Hendersonville student found dead inside an on-campus apartment Wednesday.

Hunyh, 25, was a senior nursing major at the private college.

A cause of death was not provided by officials who noted, no foul play is suspected.

“Losing a student is one of the saddest events that a close-knit campus community like Union can experience,” Union President Samuel W. “Dub” Oliver said in a note to the campus community. “It hurts deeply because we care about each other, and Huyen was a part of us with hopes and dreams for the future like we all have, reports FOX17.

Counselors and faculty members will be available to provide support for students on Thursday.

“Don’t hesitate to ask for help if you need it,” Oliver said. “Reach out and encourage others who need support. God bless you all.

According to its website, Union University Hendersonville offers graduate degrees in Education and Nursing.
