WYANDOTTE, MI. (THECOUNT) — Patrick Fitzgerald, a Michigan man reported missing in November, has been identified as the body pulled from the Detroit River Sunday night.
The body of Fitzgerald, 49, was located after 8:30 p.m. on the shoreline in Wyandotte by fishermen.
The following information was released in a series of tweets by the MSP Metro Detroit post’s Twitter account.
“Missing Person Update: On 11/20/18 troopers were dispatched to a abandoned vehicle on the MacArthur Bridge. USCG, DPD Harbor Master and MSP conducted a search and were not able to locate the missing driver, however some items of property were discovered floating in the river.”
“On 5/13 at approximately 8 35 PM fishermen located a body on the shoreline in Wyandotte. The male has been preliminary identified as the missing person, Patrick Fitzgerald, 49 years old. NOK have been notified.”
A cause of death was not provided by officials.
